I like to help people out by sharing what I've learned. I was asked to present to a college class in Small Business and walk the students through some challenges they may face as entrepreneurs. As I am a natural performer and love public speaking, it was a blast! Here are some excerpts of some of the topics we discussed in the classroom.
I started off by explaining to the class what gluten is and the benefits of a gluten free diet.
Here I speak about my personal professional journey from a career in HR to becoming a French Pastry Chef specializing in gluten free baking.
I explained to the class the challenge that my celiac husband had being on a gluten free diet when we lived in Paris in 2010. These were the days before Chamballand and Helmut Newcake bakeries. It was hard back then!
I wanted to share some of the thoughts I had and market research I did before launching my gluten free flour busienss.
Here I shared some sales strategies and expansion plans for growing a business.
It was a great class! I got the students excited about the topic and really enjoyed interacting with them.
